New Beginnings Christian Church (NBCC) has various opportunities for small group study. We invite you to join us. Please see below for more information on each study.
NEXT (18-30) Class
NEXT is a community of young adults (18-30, married and single) who choose to live according to God’s word. They embrace their identity in Christ as they grow in faith, meet new friends, and serve others. The needs of young adults are focused on with interactive discussion and time in God’s word. In addition to regular weekly meetings, fun social events and service projects are offered. They meet at 9:30 a.m. in Room 206. Text or call Melissa Joyner for Information: 777-6342.
The first study is Friends of God. This isn’t like any discipleship program you’ve seen before. There’s no gritting your teeth and trying harder to be perfect. Or checking items off a “Good Christians Do This” list. Instead, we’ll just get to know Jesus better and let our friend do what he does best: transform us from the inside out. And you’re invited! Come, join us!
The NEXT fellowship time is Saturday, October 26, @ 6:30 p.m. with Smores at the Shirey’s (3020 W Napoleon Ave, Tampa, FL 33611. You can also stay current with info on Facebook under “NBCC NEXT group”.

- Signing Class in Room 102,
- Choir in Room 107,
- A Bible Study in the Sanctuary led by Pastor Steve. This is a Bible Study Growing Through Acts. Let’s dedicate ourselves to grow through this book with a verse-by-verse study. You are encouraged to bring your Bibles and invite a friend (or two…or three…or more).
Ladies’ Bible Studies
We have three Ladies’ Bible Study opportunities:
Starting Monday, September 16, a new 9:30 a.m. Ladies’ Bible Study begins. This morning study is just another opportunity to be in God’s Word. They will study The Gospel of Mark by Lisa Harper. Please sign up in the hallway outside of the NBCC Office, so we can have a workbook for you. The cost of the book is $14 (please don’t let the expense of the workbook hold you back). The study will be held at Jessie Meech’s house, located at 4436 W. Varn Ave. All ladies are welcome. Contact: Kay Booker, 837-9615 for more info.
Beginning Monday, October 7, a study called Overcomer begins. Many people feel they are less than who God says they are. We get our identity from our careers, our political positions, our roles in the family, and a number of other lesser things. However, what is most true about us is that we are made by a God who loves us, and the gospel can bring us into a relationship with Him. When we understand who God is, we more fully understand who we are. This small group study uses clips from the film Overcomer to examine how we determine our identity and how we can find our true identity in Christ. Study guide is $9. Contact: Tammy McCready, 787-6322 for more info.
Wednesday Nights – see details under Wednesday Night Adult Studies above.

We hope to see you there. Bible Study with others is an essential part of spiritual growth and spiritual health. Pray about it and make time to get into His Word!
