Ladies’ Bible Study

A new 5-week Ladies Bible Study, “Present Over Perfect” starts on Monday, November 5, a 7 p.m. in Room 102. Are your thoughts always racing ahead to the next thing on your “to-do” list? Let Shauna Niequist take you from frantic to free! Liberating you from the pressure of perfection, she invites you to be open to God’s unconditional love, focus on the present moment, and experience a deeper sense of grace, space, and connection.”Present Over Perfect” is a hand reaching out, pulling you free from the constant pressure to perform faster, push harder, and produce more, all while maintaining an exhausting image of perfection. She offers an honest account of what led her to begin this journey, and a compelling vision for an entirely new way to live: soaked in grace, rest, silence, simplicity, prayer, and connection with the people that matter most to us. The book costs $8. Please sign up in the hallway outside the main NBCC Office if you’re interested or just show up on the 5th! Contact Tammy McCready if you have questions. Childcare is available upon request.
