Wednesday Night Adult Studies
Three adult studies are held on Wednesday Nights at 7 p.m. One, the Inquirer’s Class, is a 6-week study taught by John Meisenbach. This is for those who are new to Christianity or those desiring more information about Christianity or our church. Email John for more information. A new 6-week Inquirer's Class started January 4 .
The Sanctuary class is studying Biblical “what ifs”. For example: “what if” Cain hadn’t killed Able? Will your “what if” be discussed? Visit us on Wednesday night and find out more!
This class is webcast at NBCC Live.
Email Troy for more information
Ladies! A Beth Moore Bible Study of Esther has been added to our Wednesday night activities. They meet in the Educational Building, Room 103. There is no book (and therefore no cost) for this study. It runs from 7 - 8 p.m. and concludes at the same time as the other Wednesday night activities. Due to the shortened weekly timeframe, this study will run for approximately 20 weeks. Contact Kelly Borst (523.9398) for details.
Financial Peace University (FPU)
The goal of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is not just information - it’s looking for transformation. More than one million families have attended FPU with amazing results. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 90 days. If you are interested in finding out more about FPU, please email Bethany Jett.
The next FPU preview is scheduled for Sunday, March 4 @ 3 p.m. @ NBCC. The next 13-week class begins Sunday, March 25 @ 6 p.m.
Men’s Bible Study
The men will be finishing 2011 with a study about “Zechariahs Eight Symbolic Visions”.
. Contact Tom Stambaugh at home (886-2453), cell (453-4314), or at ggstambaugh@aol.com for information.
Ladies’ Bible Study
A new 9-week Beth Moore Ladies Bible Study, “James: Mercy Triumphs”, begins Monday, January 9. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, the Book of James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
The study will be held in the Chapel classroom (Room 102) at 7 p.m. Childcare will be provided. Questions? Please contact Kelly Borst.
