New Beginnings Christian Church is an amalgamation of two churches: Palma Ceia Christian and Westshore Christian. We both feel that by pooling our resources and membership, we can accomplish much more as one united body, than as two separate entities. Palma Ceia had begun on Bay to Bay Boulevard in 1947, but has been virtually landlocked on one acre of property. Westshore Christian was begun in 1958, and has 3.5 acres of property.

Working together, we envision active community involvement throughout the burgeoning south Tampa region. Everyone desires an opportunity to make a ‘new beginning’ at various times in their lives, and our goal at “New Beginnings” is to give that opportunity, based upon a relationship with the One who gives us life in the first place. We will be adding various programs in the future months, as we try to be a ‘new beginning’ to children, teens, and adults of all ages. Our children’s accommodations and programming will reflect the safety and quality that you should expect from a caring Christian community. We already have a very active Teen program, Singles Ministry, Widow’s Group, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Fellowship; as well as providing Sign-Language interpretation for the hearing impaired.
